Cleaning photovoltaic modules — and looking after the plant beside them.

Dust, sand, soot and bird droppings cut a module's output, and in the Gulf they settle fast. Water alone often leaves the dirt baked on. RIVOLTA P.H.C. is a cleaning concentrate made for photovoltaic modules by Bremer & Leguil, a FUCHS company, and LUBE-tech supplies it in Dubai and across the UAE and Oman.

RIVOLTA's own Energy Supply brochure also covers the plant around the arrays: condensation from the day–night cycle in transformer houses encourages dirt and growth that lead to faults, and the products below are the ones it recommends there.

Solar modules
RIVOLTA P.H.C. — biodegradable, tested by the Fraunhofer Centre for Silicon Photovoltaics CSP for compatibility with anodised aluminium frames, silicone edge seals and anti-reflective coated glass. Diluted 1:100 for heavy soiling, 1:500 for maintenance cleaning; by robot, brush or sprayer.
